The A.M.O.P.A (Association of Members of the Order of Academic Palms) - Valenciennes sector, organizes the 21st edition of the eloquence contest.

This competition is open to students holding the BAC or DAEU, up to and including BAC + 5, attending higher education institutions in the Nord department and in particular in Valenciennes.

Three prizes will be awarded in the form of grants:

• 1st prize: €500
• 2nd prize: 300 €
• 3rd prize: €200

Literary, scientific, art books, theater tickets, cinema tickets etc., will be awarded to the twelve finalists.

2 dates to remember: the selection will take place on April 5, 2023 at 4pm and the final will take place on April 12, 2023 at 4pm in Valenciennes.

Strengthening skills and internationalization: the SU and UPHF project draws to a close

The UPHF traveled to Kenya to carry out two closing missions for the ADEFSA- I-UMEME (1) project, the aim of which is to respond to the imperative of acquiring professional knowledge in electrical risk management, but also to support the University of Strathmore in the development and consolidation of its internationalization strategy.

The GIM department trains 120 students per year, both full-time and on a work-study basis. Their skills cover installation, maintenance in operational condition, security, improvement of a multi-technical system, and management of technical and human resources of a department.

The department trains 300 students per year, both full-time and on a work-study basis, who are involved in all stages of marketing a good or service: market research, sales, marketing strategy, sales communication, negotiation, customer relations.

As part of the scientific activities of the department SHV of the LAMIH, a seminar will be held by Professor Jim Richards of the University of Lancashire (United Kingdom)

As part of these actions to promote gender parity in scientific research, the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 is highlighting its female researchers through video vignettes tracing their career paths and their representation of scientific research in the feminine.

This action aims to communicate scientific careers to young women.
