  • WP1 “Specifications & use case”: The aim is to define the situations that will be addressed in the project, the main behaviours that will be the subject of an adaptation of the system (for the definition of experimental scenarios) as well as the monitoring which will condition these adaptations.

  • WP2 "Learning and self-adaptation": This phase aims at developing and fine-tuning a progressive learning algorithm based on the execution of manoeuvres in shared or manual driving.

  • WP3 "Shared control and Human-Machine Cooperation": This task is dedicated to the development of new shared control algorithms for the study of driver behaviour, conflict resolution and the elaboration of adaptive strategies for the driving of the Automated Vehicle. An "adaptive" HMI will also be developed for the monitoring of handling and managing learning.

  • WP4 “Prototyping in simulator”. The aim of this WP is to implement on the SHERPA simulator of LAMIH all the algorithms and systems from WP2 and WP3. Part of the developments will also be carried out on the DS7 vehicle of LAMIH and on the Renault Espace vehicle of Continental, for on-track tests.

  • WP5 "Experiments": The purpose of this WP is twofold. On the one hand, to provide “driver and driving” data to develop the learning mechanisms of WP2 in the framework of a user-centred design approach and, on the other hand, to test and validate the system implemented on the SHERPA simulator at the end of the project. For this purpose, two experiments will be carried out. A first, at the beginning of the project, will use the system developed as part of the ANR CoCoVeA project (level 2 automation). A second experiment, carried out at the end of the project, will seek to validate the systems developed and to provide feedback.
