Subdivisions of Horned or Spindle Dupin Cyclides Using Bézier Curves with Mass Points

Lionel Garnier, Lucie Druoton, Jean-Paul Becar, Laurent Fuchs, Géraldine Morin

This paper shows the same algorithm is used for subdivisions of Dupin cyclides with singular points and quadratic Bézier curves passing through infinity. The mass points are usefull for any quadratic Bézier representation of a parabola or an hyperbola arc. The mass points are mixing weighted points...

Investigation of the Eigen Frequency of a Cantilever Microbeam Immersed in a Fluid Under the Piezoelectric Effect

Victory Elias, Flavie Braud, Philippe Champagne, Georges Nassar

In this paper, a new model of piezoelectric cantilever is developed, it can be heavily used in a micro electromechanical system (MEMS). This new prototype eliminates several risks caused by the previous means already used and increases the sensation in terms of rheology. Our approach is based on...

Contribution à la modélisation du frittage de l'alumine par chauffage micro-ondes, Contribution to the modelling of alumina sintering by microwave heating

Maxence Renaux

Depuis les années 80, le chauffage par micro-ondes connaît un regain d’intérêt pour lefrittage des matériaux céramiques. Il permet une réduction des temps de traitement (defrittage et de palier). Lesmesures de température réalisées pendant le frittage ne pouvants’effectuer qu’à distance, il n’est..., Since the eighties, microwave heating is receiving renewed interest in the sintering ofceramic materials. It allows a reduction in processing times (sintering and dwell times).Temperature measurements during the microwave sintering can only be carried out atdistance. It is not possible to know the...

Surfaces of the nearly Kähler S3×S3 preserved by the almost product structure

Miroslava Antić, Zejun Hu, Marilena Moruz, Luc Vrancken

The product manifold S3×S3 is one of the only four homogeneous six-dimensional nearly Kähler manifolds. It also admits a canonical almost product structure P, which is compatible with the almost complex structure (see Bolton et al., Tôhoku Math. J. 67 (2015), 1–17, and Moruz and Vrancken, Publ....

Dopages de phosphate tricalcique beta et mise en forme de macroporeux par robocasting, Beta tricalcium phosphate doping and macroporous shaping by robocasting

Nicolas Somers

This thesis work focuses on the development of β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP, β-Ca3(PO4)2) doped with four cations (Mg2+, Sr2+, Ag+ and Cu2+) by the co-precipitation method and the manufacture of macroporous scaffolds by robocasting. β-TCP is one of the most studied biomaterials in the field of...
