Management of the tasks, the consortium, milestones, deliverables, and relations with the ANR.

Task 2: State of the art and problematic

Identification of current researches on conventional and new manufacturing controls and the paradigm.

  • State of the arts in Human-Machine Cooperation
  • State of the arts in Diagnostics
  • State of the arts in Human factors in Intelligent Manufacturing Systems
  • Positioning of the problematic with regard to the aforementioned perspectives

Task 3: Specifications

Identification of use cases and specification of cooperative innovative systems, integrating advanced ASO.

  • Specification and validation of use cases adapted to operational and tactical levels taking into account disturbances and incidents
  • Realization of Cognitive Work Analysis
  • Specification of innovative systems at operational level: Self-Organized Systems specifications, Supervisory Control Theory specifications for safety and diagnosis, Human operational role regarding selected levels of automation, context and agents’ abilities
  • Specification of innovative systems at tactical level: Human tactical role regarding selected levels of automation, context and agents’ skills, Support for monitoring and control of Self-Organized Systems
  • Specification of cooperation between strategic, tactical and operational levels

Task 4: Developments

  • Design and implementation of IMS human centred supervisory control tools on several platforms.

Task 5: Experiments

  • Design of experimental protocols (dependent and independent variables, participants, objective and subjective data recording).
  • Data analysis and results on human acceptability, global and local systems performance.

Task 6: Promotion: publications and workshop.
