Validation of prior learning at the UPHF

The Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) allows a person's professional, personal and/or volunteer experience to be recognized in order to obtain all or part of a degree or certification. VAE is a right registered in the Labor Code since 2002.

Any person who can prove, at least for 1 year full-time or 1607 hours continuously or not, "a salaried, non-salaried, volunteer activity, ..." related to the diploma in question.

What are the objectives of VAE?

For the candidate, VAE allows:

obtain a national diploma, a professional title or any certification registered with the RNCP ( check on the site of France Compétences)
contribute to the realization of his professional and/or personal project.

For the company, VAE allows:

upgrade employees' qualifications
participate in the Gestion Prévisionnelle des Emplois et des Compétences.

What is the role of the University?

The University is with you to:

Identify the degree (at UPHF or another training organization) that matches your background and goals
Submit the eligibility of your application (livret I)
Assist you in writing the VAE file (livret II)
Prepare you for the defense in front of the jury.

Quand et comment faire une demande de VAE ?

L'UPHF organise des réunions d'Information Collective afin de vous présenter le dispositif VAE.

Pour y participer, vous devez obligatoirement vous inscrire à l'une des dates suivantes :
Attention, ces réunions ont lieu uniquement en présentiel sur Aulnoy Lez valenciennes. Le nombre de places est limité.
