Piezoelectricity" interdisciplinary days
On October 3 and 4, the first edition of the Interdisciplinary Days on Piezoelectricity, organized by CERAMATHS and IEMN
, took place.Materials with piezoelectric properties, used in a wide range of applications, are currently being studied at CERAMATHS (DMP and DMATHS) and IEMN. In order to bring the different communities together, two multidisciplinary days on piezoelectricity have been organized, with scientific presentations, but also scientific exchanges focusing in particular on energy recovery and modeling.
.
On October 3 and 4, 2024, these days welcomed some thirty participants, and 12 presentations by international scientists; as well as two poster sessions enabling PhD students or less confirmed researchers to present their results. The colloquium was also aimed at our doctoral students and Master's students planning to start a thesis on piezoelectricity.
After this first success, the team is now looking forward to the next stage of its development.
After this initial success, the organizing team intends to make the event a permanent fixture to enable the development of piezoelectricity-related research activities, in particular by forging scientific links between our communities but also with internationally renowned specialists.
