The weekly seminar of the mathematics department will host, on Thursday, November 17, Julie Valein (Institut Élie Cartan de Lorraine, Nancy), for the following talk:
Some stability and control results on the KdV equation
Summary: In this talk, I will present some results around the Korteweg-de Vries equation. First, I will focus on the robustness of the exponential stability of the KdV equation with respect to a delay (constant or time-dependent) in edge or internal feedbacks. Then I will study the controllability at the edge of the KdV equation on a tree-like network.
