We present the current state of the art in micro-transfer printing for heterogeneously integrated silicon photonic integrated circuits. The versatility of the technology is highlighted, as is the way ahead to make this technology a key enabler for next-generation photonic systems-on-chip.

Integrated twisted bilayer graphene photonic upconverter for D-Band wireless links

We report a compact D-band graphene photonics-based upconverter at 140 GHz for next generation 6G networks. We show 10Gb/s QPSK and 4Gb/s 16QAM transmission exploiting ultra-broadband ( 180 GHz ) operation of CVD-grown large-angle twisted-bilayer-graphene.
