IAE Valenciennes shines at the 2025 eloquence competition

Five students from IAE Valenciennes took part in the inter-IAE 2025 eloquence competition, competing against 42 speakers from all over France.

Special mention to Gabrielle Corroenne!

This Saturday, March 15, 2025, five students from IAE Valenciennes brilliantly defended their school's colors in the inter-IAE eloquence competition.

Facing 42 participants from 12 IAEs, they met several oratory challenges. In the first round, each candidate had 5 minutes to speak on the imposed theme of "Interculturality". Only 24 made it through to the second round, where they were able to choose from 20 original topics, such as "Is Santa Claus an influencer of capitalism?" or "If time were to turn back, what would you say to it?"

.

After some intense jousting, Gabrielle Corroenne (M1 MDPE) distinguished herself by reaching the final and taking the silver medal with a hard-hitting speech on "Is the judge's seat comfortable?"

Congratulations to Bilel Hamour, Maximilien Mayeur, Léo Liénard, Simon Despriet, and Gabrielle Corroenne for their commitment and oratory skills.

See you in 2026 in Lyon for another edition!
