International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
On Monday, November 27 at 5:30 p.m. will take place at tertiales conferences for the international day of fight against violence against women.
November 25 is traditionally the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The day has its origins in the assassination of the Mirabal sisters on November 25, 1960, on the orders of dictator and head of state Rafael Trujillo.
Monday November 27, Mme Segala, University Professor and head of the Diversity-Equal Opportunity mission for the UPHF, is offering us lectures around this theme, with talks on intra-family violence, sexual violence and domestic violence.
