Lucie Germain
Lucie Germain is from Lyon and a second-year licence en Arts course Arts plastiques student at the Institut Société et Humanités, Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.
A passion: art!
Lucie has always loved art in all its forms, even though her high school curriculum pointed her towards a bachelor's degree in hotel and catering. In the end, she decided to follow her true passion and begin studying art.
She began her first year at UPHF by opting for remediation, which involves spreading the first year of the bachelor's degree over two years. It was a very special year, marked by a change of town and adjusting to university life, among other things.
She's now a student at the UPHF.
She quickly settled in, joined the board of the Valhallart association, and became passionate about her training while already envisioning the outlines of a future professional career.
This fulfillment is reflected in each of her creations. Her painting, inspired by tribal art, is characterized by the use of bright colors, contrasts and sharp contours. In her paintings, figures and objects seem to come to life, as if they wanted to step out of the frame, carried by the force of a movement that remains frozen for only a moment.
Lucie GermainI saw college from a different angle, everything was different, I discovered student life. I also discovered how lectures really work, that I'm in college for me, for my future.
A style that gets noticed
This style and energy quickly attracted attention. The young artist's work attracted attention on social networks, including a Parisian stylist who imagined a collaboration to which Lucie responded favorably.
The student discovers the fashion world, meets artists from different horizons and sees the fruit of her creation being more and more appreciated.
This is the start of a new adventure that holds out the prospect of success and recognition, highlighted in the Lyon regional press.
Bravo Lucie, and all the best for the future!
