Master's degree in Arts, Letters and Civilizations, course in Translation Studies

This Friday, March 1 at 11am, Vincent Vivès and Stéphanie Schwerter will host a videoconference as part of the presentation of the master Arts, Lettres et Civilisations  Traductologie course.

Towards the translation profession

The master's degree The Arts, Lettres et Civilisations  Traductologie course is aimed at students who are fluent in French and English, as well as Spanish or German.

It covers a wide range of aspects of the translating profession. Courses include literary translation, general translation, sociology of translation, translation theory, intercultural communication, subtitling, linguistics as well as song translation. Courses also include online teaching on translation and cultural exchange. 

An international online classroom welcomes students with their Italian and Belgian counterparts. These courses are run in cooperation with the University of Catania in Italy and the University of Mons. It's also an opportunity for students who dream of the international.
With this Master's degree, students have the possibility of completing a double degree with the University of Murcia in Spain, spending the first year at UPHF and the second in Murcia.
They will also have the opportunity to study at the University of Catania in Italy. They will also have the opportunity to spend a semester on international mobility in Leipzig, Germany, Belfast or Mons.

The master's degree dedicated to creative writing will also be presented during the videoconference.
