[BACK TO] Cultural project "Discovering the Middle Ages
As part of their curriculum, students in the History and Cultural Enhancement master's degree professional track carry out a cultural project.
Playful workshops on Saturday 25 March at the Multi-accueil of Raimbeaucourt
It is in partnership with the city of Raimbeaucourt that 4 students of the master HVCI chose to realize their cultural project.
Their project, entitled "A la découverte du Moyen-âge" (Discovering the Middle Ages) allowed about fifty children to discover different facets of the Middle Ages in the form of playful workshops. The first workshop was a cardboard coat of arms making, the second workshop allowed the children to fight as in the Middle Ages with foam swords. Then, two conferences were held on castles: with the help of a video game, children could visit the interior of a castle and understand its architecture, they also had explanations on the castle of Angers and its famous tapestry The Tapestry of the Apocalypse. Dynamic and motivated, the students managed to fascinate their little visitors superbly disguised who, after a snack, left delighted with their afternoon.
