Study trip to Luxembourg for Master 2 HVCI students

From January 17 to 19, 2024, students in the Master 2 International History and Cultural Valorization program braved the cold and snow to discover Luxembourg.

As part of the " Enquête de terrain à l'international " course, run by Mme Cagneau and Mme Delattre-Destemberg, the students organized their trip. Together, they had to decide on their destination, schedule visits, book accommodation, meet cultural professionals and more. Divided into small groups, the students organized and presented mediation activities during the various visits.

The program for the stay was rich and varied : the Lëtzebuerg City Museum, Neimënster Abbey, the memory trail in Esch-sur-Alzette, the Rocher du Bock, the Grand-Duc Jean Museum of Modern Art, the Dräi Eechelen Museum, as well as a meeting with Mme Damiani, M. Lecoutère and M. Gautier. Lecoutère and Mr. Gwosdz, three professionals from the cultural department of the town of Esch-sur-Alzette.

This unifying trip enabled the entire graduating class to get together in a friendly, international setting. It was an opportunity to put into practice the skills acquired during training, such as heritage analysis, project management, event organization, communication and cultural mediation.
