Students in the master History course History, Media and Mediations had to produce a web documentary or a podcast whose writing had been initiated in the first semester.
The challenge was to take advantage of the technical lessons (scriptwriting, audiovisual capture and post-production) taught in the second semester in order to complete their project.
Description
The Women of the Blues is a web documentary that traces a part of the history of the Blues through the evocation of female figures who participated in the rise of this musical genre.
This extremely documented work aims to highlight the cultural impact of great female musicians and singers such as Ma Rainey or even Bessie Smith.
