Registration or transfer procedure
Depending on the student's profile and the course of study, the application and registration procedures may differ but always involve 3 stages.
Three steps to joining UPHF
- STAGE 1 : Application or pre-registration with the institute organizing the course - from December to September depending on the course .
- STAGE 2 : Administrative registration - from July
- STAGE 3 : Pedagogical registration with the training secretariat.
STEP 1: Application
Applying for 1st year after Bac:
- Applicants affected by Parcoursup:
- Baccalaureate holder of the year 2025 or holder of an equivalent diploma (e.g. DAEU or Capacité en droit for continuation in licence 1st year of law only)
- Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France student wishing to reorient themselves
- Student coming from another university and wishing to reorient
- Student: consult the pre-registration procedures by course
- International student: apply to a exchange program or to individual title
- Doctoral student : follow the Doctoral School procedure
- Resuming studies applicant: contact the Apprenticeship and Continuing Education Department

STEP 2: Administrative registration
- High school students: enrolling in 1st year
- Student at UPHF re-enrolling
- Student at another institution
- You are International student and you have never been enrolled at Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France
- You wish to become a doctoral fellow: follow the Doctoral School procedure
- Continuing education: contact the secretariat of the relevant course
STEP 3: Pedagogical registration
The final step is to register for the course, by contacting the relevant training course directly.

Students wishing to continue their studies at another French university must proceed with a request to transfer their academic file.
The transfer is generally made for registration for the academic year, transfer during the year being exceptional.
A computer interface is available to you to make your departure from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France effective.
This computer interface allows you to:
- make your request online .
- receive information by e-mail on the progress of your application .
- to obtain a favorable or unfavorable opinion issued by the President of Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, in the form of a digital visa
- to print your transfer request, once this visa has been obtained, in PDF format
The validation of your transfer file guarantees that you are in good standing with Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (library discharge, payment of fees...) and allows the host institution to register you.
