The CERAMATHS mathematics department seminar will welcome Louis Dupaigne (Université Lyon 1) at 2pm, Thursday November 23, 2023, for the following talk:

 Classification of stable and asymptotically homogeneous solutions of the Lane-Emden system

In the middle of the 20th century, De Giorgi and Nash proposed two distinct proofs of Hilbert's 19th problem at about the same time. I will present a variation of De Giorgi's approach to study the regularity of solutions of a system of elliptic PDEs known as the Lane-Emden system. Work in collaboration with Hatem Hajlaoui and Marius Ghergu.
