Al‐Rich AlGaN Channel High Electron Mobility Transistors on Silicon: A Relevant Approach for High Temperature Stability of Electron Mobility

Julien Bassaler, Jash Mehta, Idriss Abid, Leszek Konczewicz, Sandrine Juillaguet, Sylvie Contreras, Stéphanie Rennesson, Sebastian Tamariz, Maud Nemoz, Fabrice Semond, Julien Pernot, Farid Medjdoub, Yvon Cordier, Philippe Ferrandis

Ultrawide bandgap (UWBG) semiconductors offer new possibilities to develop power electronics. High voltage operation for the off‐state as well as high temperature stability of the devices in on‐state are required. More than AlGaN/GaN heterostructures, AlGaN/AlGaN heterostructures are promising…

Integrated twisted bilayer graphene photonic upconverter for D-Band wireless links

Alberto A. Montanaro, A. Boschi, Guillaume Ducournau, Vaidotas Mišeikis, S. Soresi, M.G.L. Frecassetti, P. Galli, Henri Happy, S. Pezzini, C. Coletti, Marco Romagnoli, V. Sorianello

We report a compact D-band graphene photonics-based upconverter at 140 GHz for next generation 6G networks. We show 10Gb/s QPSK and 4Gb/s 16QAM transmission exploiting ultra-broadband ( 180 GHz ) operation of CVD-grown large-angle twisted-bilayer-graphene.

Broadband high-contrast-grating-type waveplates for the terahertz range

Surya Revanth Ayyagari, Andreas K Klein, Simonas Indrišiūnas, Vytautas Janonis, Daniil Pashnev, Abdu Subahan Mohammed, Guillaume Ducournau, Andreas Stöhr, Irmantas Kašalynas

The high-contrast-grating waveplates utilizing high contrast between silicon and air refractive indexes were developed in order to perform as a quarter wave and a half wave plate in the selected THz frequency range. The waveplates possessed anti-reflective properties due to the specific inclination…

Single-Channel Imaging at Low Sampling Rates

Salah Skitioui, Cyril Decroze, Ettien Kpre, Christophe Gaquière, Okan Yurduseven, Thomas Fromenteze

This study introduces a method for single-channel imaging at low sampling rates, utilizing Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave radar combined with space-frequency multiplexing. This approach significantly reduces system complexity and data acquisition demands by encoding scene reflectivity into a…
