Efficiency and Accuracy Evaluation of Multiple Diffusion‐Weighted MRI Techniques Across Different Scanners

Frederik Crop, Clémence Robert, Romain Viard, Julien Dumont, Marine Kawalko, Pauline Makala, Xavier Liem, Imen El Aoud, Aicha Ben Miled, Victor Chaton, Lucas Patin, David Pasquier, Ophélie Guillaud, Benjamin Vandendorpe, Xavier Mirabel, Luc Ceugnart, Camille Decoene, Thomas Lacornerie

Background The choice between different diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) techniques is difficult as each comes with tradeoffs for efficient clinical routine imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) accuracy. Purpose: To quantify signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) efficiency, ADC accuracy,…

Enhanced Fluid Characterization with a Cantilever Microbeaman System Excited by an Embedded Electroactive Source

Victory Elias, Emmanuel Dubois, Nikolay Smagin, Frédéric Rivart, Alex Vercampt, Georges Nassar

When there is a variation in fluid concentration at the free end of a microcantilever, this phenomenon can be utilized in applications such as chemical analysis, biological testing, pharmaceutical screenings, and environmental monitoring. This paper introduces a novel sensor based on a silicon…

Broadband high-contrast-grating-type waveplates for the terahertz range

Surya Revanth Ayyagari, Andreas K Klein, Simonas Indrišiūnas, Vytautas Janonis, Daniil Pashnev, Abdu Subahan Mohammed, Guillaume Ducournau, Andreas Stöhr, Irmantas Kašalynas

The high-contrast-grating waveplates utilizing high contrast between silicon and air refractive indexes were developed in order to perform as a quarter wave and a half wave plate in the selected THz frequency range. The waveplates possessed anti-reflective properties due to the specific inclination…

Single-Channel Imaging at Low Sampling Rates

Salah Skitioui, Cyril Decroze, Ettien Kpre, Christophe Gaquière, Okan Yurduseven, Thomas Fromenteze

This study introduces a method for single-channel imaging at low sampling rates, utilizing Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave radar combined with space-frequency multiplexing. This approach significantly reduces system complexity and data acquisition demands by encoding scene reflectivity into a…
