A serious game can concern the artifact (Serious Game) or the activity (Serious Play). Serious games can be digital (video games, electronic games, etc.) or analog (board games, card games, etc.). Serious games are used in a wide variety of fields: education (Edugame), health (Health games), politics (Political games), the army (Military games), advertising (Advergames), etc.
