Brigitte Friant-Kessler currently works at the Faculté des Lettres, Langues, Arts et Sciences Humaines (FLLASH), University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambresis. Brigitte does research in English Literature and Visual Arts. Her current project is a book-length study on graphic adaptations, humour and British literary classics from Defoe to Shelley.
