As part of the "Bienvenue à l'usine" (Welcome to the factory) operation organized by the Avesnois Tourist Office, this one-day workshop on the challenges facing industry in the region aims to bring together the views of academics and the socio-economic world. Geographers, sociologists and local players from the Sambre-Avesnois region will examine the economic, heritage and social aspects of industry in the region, through presentations and round-table discussions.
