Doctoral Seminar - Crossing Class Boundaries: Narratives, Experiences, and Imaginaries of Social Mobility 2026/2027

This doctoral seminar aims to explore experiences of social mobility through multidisciplinary approaches. It examines cross-class trajectories, narratives of lineage, representations of social mobility, and the effects of class, gender, and migratory legacies. By bringing together diverse research fields, corpora, and methods, this seminar provides a space for discussion on contemporary forms of social mobility and the ways in which they are experienced, narrated, and analyzed.
