GUARDIAN
Generalizable and Unified Assistive Research for Digital Health Integration and Analytics Network
This project aims to develop methods, techniques, models, tools, software components and services designed to facilitate the development of smart applications in the field of the IoHT (Internet of Health Things).
Introduction
The GUARDIAN project aims to investigate the current research challenges in the field of the Internet of Health Things (IoHT), with a view to improving quality of life and healthcare.
We aim to develop methods, techniques, models, tools, software artefacts and services designed to facilitate the development of intelligent IoHT applications.
More specifically, this project will focus on the following themes:
- the identification or design of specialised IoHT devices and IoHT device controllers, as well as the generation and manipulation of IoHT datasets;
- the integration of data semantics into IoHT datasets; and
- the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to analyse data relating to health patterns, as well as the creation of analytical systems capable of interpreting and explaining this data.
