SIMULATEUR FERROVIAIRE PSCHITT RAIL du LAMIH

PSCHITT-Rail

Multimodal Platform Modality PSCHITT transportation research platform, the PSCHITT-Rail platform is a simulator dedicated to train driving. It is part of the autonomous mobility and is part of the CPER’s regional AV-Lab platform RITMEA.

Overview

Designed by LAMIH, the PSCHITT-Rail platform enables the simulation of tram or train operation in a secure experimental setting for professional drivers or autonomous systems. Dynamic and immersive, it is a medium-duty scientific facility (full-scale cab, Alstom control console, mobile base, etc.) equipped with a rail simulation software environment specifically tailored for research purposes.

Involved in numerous projects, the PSCHITT-Rail platform uses its advanced capabilities to safely meet experimental needs in various usage contexts, such as:

  • The design, prototyping, and evaluation of advanced driver-assistance systems;
  • Analysis and modeling of driver and passenger behavior, particularly in potentially accident-prone situations;
  • Studies related to rail transport safety.

Keywords

Driver-vehicle cooperation, autonomous trains, rail safety, driver and driving monitoring.
