Mobilité humaine

Human mobility (MOBHUM)

The motor analysis platform is managed by the research department "Sciences de l'Homme et du Vivant" (SHV) of the LAMIH (UMR CNRS 8201), which is a department bringing together researchers from different disciplines dealing with the human aspects of movement.

General presentation

This includes researchers who examine disorders and disturbances of motor function with the aim of optimizing it, and researchers who focus on studying the cognitive, emotional and motor components of decision-making.

One of the Department's main strengths SHV thus lies in its multidisciplinarity: it draws essentially on Biomechanics, Neurophysiology and Psycho-Ergonomics, which means that the human can be apprehended via a systemic model, based on the bio-psycho-social approach.

The Department's research then focuses on analyzing and modeling the control of human activities, from decision-making to motor action.

To achieve this, the SHV Department relies on the Human Motor Analysis platform.
