HUMOVE: People, Movement, the Environment (Human-MOVement-Environment)

Détails du groupe de recherche HUMOVE : L'Homme, le Mouvement, l'Environnement (Human-MOVement-Environment) du département BioMotH du LAMIH

The HUMOVE research group develops experimental and modelling approaches aimed at optimising the human–environment interaction for health prevention and clinical practice.

Its research explores the interactions between the body, its environment and technological devices in order to design solutions tailored to each individual’s needs and abilities.

By combining mechanics, biomechanics, instrumentation, experimentation and modelling, its work addresses challenges relating to health, mobility, rehabilitation and independence, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing safety in clinical or occupational settings.

The group’s activities are structured around three complementary areas: the development of assistive and rehabilitation devices; innovation in medical therapies and implants; and the optimisation of the foot-ground interface, through the study of locomotion, balance and podiatric treatments.

Through these three areas, HUMOVE promotes the transfer of scientific knowledge into practical applications, with a view to prevention, health and the sustainable improvement of quality of life.
