Rigidity of Adult Shoes: Acquisition of kinematic and dynamic data during walking and running for adults wearing size 43, for various hiking boots.
In this study, the aim is to evaluate 2 parameters of the soles of running shoes : cushioning and torsional stiffness.
The Decathlon company prototyped 5 pairs of shoes with different mechanical characteristics. In the study, we investigated the impact of these characteristics on the locomotion of 12 subjects during walking and running.
