Reformulating Clancey's generic tasks for bridging both sides of dual reality, Reformulation des tâches génériques de Clancey pour relier les deux côtés de la réalité duale

Walid Merrad, Alexis Heloir, Christophe Kolski

In many domains, the realization of an abstract model implies to cross the valley separating an abstract conceptualization and its actual completion in the physical world. In this paper, we propose a generic model based on Clancey's ontology of generic tasks and the dual reality paradigm.

Gain-scheduled H ∞ admissibilisation of LPV discrete-time systems with LPV singular descriptor

Antonio Gonzalez Sorribes, Víctor Estrada Manzo, Thierry-Marie Guerra

This paper deals with the admissibilisation with guaranteed H∞ performance of linear parameter-varying (LPV) discrete-time singular systems under gain-scheduled (GS) state-feedback control. In particular, we focus on systems with descriptor matrix of LPV form and unknown/unmeasurable disturbance...

Pascal Bouda, Bertrand Langrand, Delphine Notta-Cuvier, Fabrice Pierron, Eric Markiewicz

Dans la perspective de l’identification d’un comportement..., The following work aims at developing novel approaches to extract derived kinematic fields from fullfield measurements obtained with image-based techniques (Digital Image Correlation - DIC and the grid method). Within the framework of the identification of an elastic-viscoplastic behaviour, the...

Pascal Bouda, Bertrand Langrand, Delphine Notta-Cuvier, Eric Markiewicz, Fabrice Pierron

The following work aims at designing a novel test to characterize the dynamic behaviour of metallic materials. Using the Virtual Fields Method (VFM), this test should enable the identification of elasticviscoplastic model that is valid on a wide strain and strain rate range. In order to do so,...

Unsteady behaviour of separated and reattaching flows for a backward-facing step configuration at high Reynolds numbers

Camila Chovet, Laurent Keirsbulck, Marc Lippert, Jean-Marc Foucaut

A contribution to the study of unsteady behavior of separated and reattaching flows over a backwardfacing is reported. Unsteady wall pressure and velocity field measurements were done in order to clarify the main Reynolds number dependencies with regards to downstream external parameters.

Study of the lifecycle of rubber suspension elements for optimised maintenance and safe dynamic behaviour

Andrés Malo-Estepa, Adnane Boukamel, Thierry Tison, Franck Massa

Transport industry and, more specifically, railway industry, is confronted with a permanent need of improvement of its products. The competitiveness of rolling stock does not come only from low-cost production, but also from wise-calculated lifecycle costs. Nowadays, many contracts for railway...

Anthony Graziani, Marc Lippert, Laurent Keirsbulck, David Uystepruyst

A l’aide de plusieurs séries de mesures du champ aérodynamique par vélocimétrie à image de particules (Piv) et de..., The sensitivity to several flow parameters on near wall quantities of the flow surrounding a forward facing step at high Reynolds number is experimentaly investigated for 9 configurations. Particles image velocimetry Piv permitted to study the evolution of the reattachment points, located upstream...

Julie Chalon, Laurent Dubar, Jean-Dominique Guerin, Eli Saúl Puchi-Cabrera, Adnane Boukamel

Cette communication présente la stratégie scientifique développée pour répondre à..., The decrease of the forging temperature would represent a source of significant energy savings for the industries. Measurement of thin liquid film thickness between two mechanical surfaces in relative movement using the conductimetry technique: Application for hydrodynamic lubrication

Fethi Aloui, Lamia Gaied, Wafik Abassi, Marc Lippert, Maxence Bigerelle

This paper presents an approach for the measurement of liquid film thickness in contact with a rough surface, based on electrical conductance sensor. This type of sensor consists of electrodes implanted on the wall and flush with an electrolyte solution representing the liquid film. Assessing of...
