TUMBLE IT.

Homotopy perturbation technique for improving solutions of large quadratic eigenvalue problems: Application to friction-induced vibration

Jérémy Sadet, Franck Massa, Thierry Tison, Isabelle Turpin, Bertrand Lallemand, El-Ghazali Talbi

This paper puts forward a projection technique for accurately calculating solutions of large Quadratic Eigenvalue Problem. The aim here is to stabilize the complex eigensolutions whilst reducing residual errors, especially when considering significant damping contribution or asymmetric stiffness...

Lamia Berrah, Vincent Cliville, Damien Trentesaux, Claude Chapel

This paper deals with industrial performance and the enrichment of its triangle (efficiency, effectiveness, relevance) with a view to integrating the ethical dimension. The contribution of ethics to performance is discussed in the current context of Industry 4.0 which, due to the digitisation of...

Design of a cooperative eco-driving rail control system: an experimental study

Salvatore La Delfa, Simon Enjalbert, Philippe Polet, Frédéric Vanderhaegen

The paper proposes an original framework to design cooperative eco-driving (economic driving) rail control system called CEDRICS. A generic method to design cooperative support system is applied to build CEDRICS by taking into account real human behaviors to recalculate on-line advices for train...
