Interaction Tangible sur Table, définitions et modèles, Tangible interaction on tabletop, definitions and models

Sophie Lepreux, Julien Castet, Nadine Couture, Emmanuel Dubois, Christophe Kolski, Sébastien Kubicki, Valérie Maquil, Guillaume Riviere

In recent years, tangible user interfaces, which imply interactions performed with one or several objects, gain more and more interest in research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The tangible object represents a subject or an action. It acts on the system, as an action in classical user...

The aim of this thesis is to study the diagnostic of test systems used at Airbus HELICOPTERS called avionics test benches. Helicopters embark twenty features to offer helicopter customers functions that will enable to operate the aircraft in all flight conditions (reduced visibility, restricted...

Symmetry analysis for film boiling of nanofluids on a vertical plate using a nonlinear approach

Andriy A. Avramenko, Igor V. Shevchuk, Shaaban Abdallah, D.G. Blinov, Souad Harmand, Andrii I. Tyrinov

This paper focuses on developing a self-similar model to be used in modeling of transport processes of heat, momentum and concentration in a nanofluid at its stable film boiling over a vertical surface. Novelty of the model consists in finding self-similar forms of variables and differential...

State feedback stabilization of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems on non-uniform time domains

Bacem Ben Nasser, Khaled Boukerrioua, Michael Defoort, Mohamed Djemai, Mohamed Ali Hammami

This paper deals with the stabilization problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems on non-uniform time domains. Some sufficient conditions are derived to design a state feedback controller for a class of uncertain nonlinear time-varying systems under vanishing perturbations. Using some...

Design of a pre-stretched tension Hopkinson bar device: Configuration, tail corrections, and numerical validation

Grégory Haugou, Nicolas Leconte, Hervé Morvan

The use of Hopkinson bar device is suitable for the characterization of high ductility metallic alloys up to fracture at moderate strain rates. Since a fairly long duration time is required, the pre-stretched technique has been chosen. However, elastic wave overlapping at strain gauges is common...
