A view of trust and information system security under the perspective of critical infrastructure protection, Une vision de la recherche sur la confiance et la sûreté des systèmes d’information dans le cadre de la protection des infrastructures critiques

Bako Rajaonah

Although trust is recognized as important in security issues of computer networking environments, few studies on information systems deal with both trust and security, and those existing tend to remain within the short perimeter of two-agent interactions.

Thermal effect of the welding process on the dynamic behavior of the HSS constitutive materials of a fillet welded joint

Julien Carrier, Eric Markiewicz, Grégory Haugou, David Lebaillif, Nicolas Leconte, Hakim Naceur

Welded joints, due to their manufacturing process, are commonly weakened areas. This study provides a pragmatic methodology to analyze the dynamic behavior of the Base Metal (BM) and the Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ) of an HSS (High Strength Steel) fillet welded joint. Firstly, a specific approach has…

Prioritizing the Usability Criteria of Adaptive User Interfaces of Information Systems based on ISO/IEC 25040 Standard, Priorisation des critères d’utilisabilité des interfaces utilisateur adaptatives des systèmes d’information basé sur la norme ISO/IEC 25040

Amira Dhouib, Abdelwaheb Trabelsi, Christophe Kolski, Mahmoud Neji

Usability is a major concern within adaptive user interfaces. It presents a combination of different attributes. The impact of each usability attribute may vary from one layer to another during the usability evaluation of adaptive user interfaces. On that basis, one question that arises is: “What…

Experimental Spectroscopic Studies of Carbon Monoxide (CO) Fluorescence at High Temperatures and Pressures, Etudes experimentales de spectroscopie de fluorescence du monoxyde de carbone (CO) à hautes températures et pressions

Olivier Carrivain, Mikael Orain, Nelly Dorval, Céline Morin, Guillaume Legros

Two-photon excitation laser-induced fluorescence of carbon monoxide (CO-LIF) is investigated experimentally in order to determine the applicability of this technique for imaging CO concentration in aeronautical combustors.

Iterative aggregation and disaggregation algorithm for pseudo-polynomial network flow models with side constraints

François Clautiaux, Said Hanafi, Rita Macedo, Marie-Emilie Voge, Cláudio Alves

This paper develops a general solution framework based on aggregation techniques to solve NP-Hard problems that can be formulated as a circulation model with specific side constraints. The size of the extended Mixed Integer Linear Programming formulation is generally pseudo-polynomial. To…

Passive control of deep cavity shear layer flow at subsonic speed

Mouhammad El Hassan, Laurent Keirsbulck

Passive control of the flow over a deep cavity at low subsonic velocity is considered in the present paper. The cavity length-to-depth aspect ratio is L/H = 0.2. particle image velocimetry (PIV) measurements characterized the flow over the cavity and show the influence of the control method on the…, Nous prenons ici en considération le contrôle passif d’un écoulement à faible vitesse subsonique sur une cavité. Le rapport longueur à profondeur de la cavité est L/H = 0.2. Les mesures de vélocimétrie par image de particule caractérisent l’écoulement au dessus de la cavité et montrent l’influence…

New use of the HITS algorithm for fast web page classification

Mohamed Nadjib Meadi, Chaouki Babahenini, Abdelmalik Taleb-Ahmed

The immense number of documents published on the web requires the utilization of automatic classifiers that allow organizing and obtaining information from these large resources. Typically, automatic web pages classifiers handle millions of web pages, tens of thousands of features, and hundreds of…
