Experimental Study of Flow Control on Bluff Body using Piezoelectric Actuators

Nabil Tounsi, Rafika Mestiri, Laurent Keirsbulck, Hamid Oualli, Samir Hanchi, Fethi Aloui

Active flow control is experimentally investigated on a car-type bluff body. The actuation is based on a synthetic jet actuator placed at the top of the Ahmed body rear window. In the present paper, a synthetic jet characterization is presented, the frequencies and the optimal amplitudes with…

Integer programming based approaches for multi-trip location routing

Rita Macedo, Bruna Ramos, Cláudio Alves, José Manuel Valério de Carvalho, Said Hanafi, Nenad Mladenovic

The multi-trip location routing problem consists in selecting the depots to open and the routes that should be performed to serve a set of clients at minimum cost. The multi-trip variant considers the possibility for a vehicle to perform more than a single route during the planning period, and…

Seasonal ARMA-based SPC charts for anomaly detection: Application to emergency department systems

Farid Kadri, Fouzi Harrou, Sondès Chaabane, Ying Sun, Christian Tahon

Monitoring complex production systems is primordial to ensure management, reliability and safety as well as maintaining the desired product quality. Early detection of emergent abnormal behaviour in monitored systems allows pre-emptive action to prevent more serious consequences, to improve system…

L’article propose…

On the joint optimization of the periodic preventive maintenance and the spare parts inventory problem

Anis Mjirda, Rachid Benmansour, Hamid Allaoui, Gilles Goncalves

In this paper, we propose a new model for the joint optimization of the periodic preventive maintenance and spare parts inventory problem. It consist to find an optimal maintenance schedule of M machine over a cyclic horizon composed of τ periods with taking into account the inventory management of…
