Master Audiovisual Postproduction course

Qualified as a "high-flying master's degree" by the specialized press (Sonovision Broadcast no. 504) and as the "best of" in the profession by the national press (Le Nouvel Observateur no. 2158), the Postproduction master's degree (previous title: TrucIS) very quickly established itself as a benchmark in the highly demanding post-production and digital visual effects sector, offering an original, highly technical and professionalized training program (lecturers and professional equipment).

Admission requirements

In the first year: Hold a bac +3 (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) or have validated 180 credits (LMD system) in the audiovisual, film or graphic arts sector (provided candidates have the ability to adapt to a scientific and technical context).

Introductory modules provide a refresher course based on previous curriculum. The Master's degree is also available through continuing education.

In the second year: hold a Bac +4 (Master's degree or equivalent) or have validated 240 ECTS credits that guarantee good knowledge and real skills, of a scientific, technical or artistic nature, in a sector related to audiovisual, film or graphic arts (provided candidates have the ability to adapt to a scientific and technical context).

The Master's degree is also accessible through continuing education.

Registration (enrolment: 24 students per year)

In the first year: Application is made on the national Mon-Master platform. A pre-selection based on application files and a motivational interview are organized in May or June.

In the second year:Application is made on the national eCandidat platform. A pre-selection based on a portfolio and a motivational interview are organized during May or June.

In the second year:Application is made via the national eCandidat platform.

Objectives

There is considerable and fast-growing demand for all professions linked to digital post-production. The Postproduction pathway (ex. TrucIS), part of the Audiovisual, Digital Interactive Media, Games Master's degree, prepares students for these professions of the future through the acquisition of a dual skill set: a technical and scientific skill set, and a skill set as an integrator of new tools for acquiring, processing and distributing images and sounds in the trickery sector.

The program's openness to the professional world is reflected in a number of ways: the involvement of high-level professionals, the opportunity to carry out one or more projects each year, and lastly the importance attached to the internship and dissertation to reflect the major concern of the professional master's program: close links with the professional world.
