Technical

Technical projects are an opportunity for students to carry out experiments by managing both technical and artistic aspects on complex themes combining sound (sound recording, editing, mixing), image (animation, photography, shooting), prototyping (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and/or computer science (software, programming).

Reproduction of painting lighting in video (2021) - License 3

This project is an attempt to answer this question, based on several attempts to imitate paintings. It seeks to blur the boundary between painting and video, and to question the veracity of shadows, reflections and light in the work of painters.

KYMA (2018) - License 3

KYMA is an experimental music video filmed in the form of a concert where light, video and stage installations complement the musical performance.

Beyond simple illustration, scientific experiments react to the sound of various instruments. The aim is to visually retranscribe the music. Sand, water, light, the music moves, transforms the elements present on stage.

At the same time, the sound of the instruments is transformed by the music.

Between Heaven and Earth (2017) - License 3

Entre Ciel et Terre is a technical project involving architectural video mapping on a structure built for the occasion. All the images (2d and 3d animation) projected, as well as the sound design and music, were created by the project's three students.

Pitch : Life is a melody on the edge of grandiose symphonies. A few false notes dot the being that evolves between heaven and earth, between space and time, between dream and reality, between emotion and conditioning... A few false chords in a psyche with strange notes. But there's color too: the most beautiful things in the world cannot be erased. Humanity in all its paradoxes and highest lights.
