Title

Safe flight of low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles

Summary

Over the past decade, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology has developed rapidly and its applications have expanded beyond photography, surveying, inspection and logistics. However, UAV flight safety remains an ongoing challenge.

Due to the complexity of the operating environment, UAVs face both opportunities and challenges in terms of reliability and scalability.

This presentation will outline the progress made by the AIMS team at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the field of UAV flight safety.
