GIS GRAISyHM

  • - the coordination of GRAISyHM members' actions in the Nord Pas de Calais Region,
  • - the promotion of these regional actions on a national and international level,
  • - the mobility of researchers and teacher-researchers,
  • - the initiation of innovative projects integrating technology transfer.

Since 2017, the GIS GRAISyHM brings together all the computer engineering, signal processing and automatic control laboratories in the Hauts-de-France region (CNU section 61): URIA in Douai, ESTAS and LEOST in Villeneuve d'Ascq, GEMTEX in Roubaix, LGI2A in Béthune, UMR CNRS CRIStAL in Lille, UMR CNRS LAMIH in Valenciennes, LISIC in Calais, MIS in Amiens, LTI in Saint-Quentin, and UMR CNRS HEUDIASyC in Compiègne.

Their collaboration (which began in 1993) is structured around scientific projects defined by a Scientific Council (which meets every two months on average and is chaired by its president and vice-president) and validated by a Steering Committee (which meets every year and is chaired by its director).

It is organized around five major scientific themes (a transversal theme: Human-Machine Systems; a theme on signal and image processing, a theme on decision support in uncertain environments, a theme on control-command of multi-dynamic systems, and a theme on diagnostics, robust control and fault-tolerant control), and enables the development of concepts specific to Automation and Human-Machine Systems (system, control, supervision, signal theory, imaging and complex interactions, user-centered automation, human-machine cooperation, learning, dependability, human reliability, resilience, etc.).).

Since 2019, a new rider has been signed by all 11 partner establishments for the period 2019-2024, with the following objectives: the coordination and animation of the 5 research themes, the organization of joint events, responses to regional, national or European calls for projects, and the co-direction of theses by two different GRAISyHM laboratories.
