Comportement dynamique des matériaux cellulaires issus de la fabrication additive pour l'allègement structural et la sécurité au crash et à l'impact, Dynamic behavior of cellular materials produced by additive manufacturing for lightweight structures and crash and impact safety

Hugo Carassus

The rise of additive manufacturing since the end of the 20th century has made it possible to consider the design of new architectural cellular materials combining lightness and high energy absorption capacity. Their use in the field of ground or air transport sectors is therefore of interest to…

A Multiscale Topographical Surface Analysis of High Entropy Alloys Coatings by Laser Melting

Maxence Bigerelle, Anaïs Galliere, Yucelys Santana, Hervé Morvan, Mirentxu Dubar, Jean-François Trelcat, Laurent Boilet, Emmanuel Paris

High Entropy Alloys (HEAs) coatings obtained by laser melting (LM) technique were studied through a multiscale topographical surface analysis using a focus variation microscope. The laser melting creates a multiscale topography from under-powder size (incomplete or complete powder melting) to upper…

Apport de la cohérence intermusculaire pour l'estimation des moments musculaires, Contribution of intermuscular coherence for muscle moment estimations

Emilie Mathieu

L'estimation des moments de force développés par chaque muscle intervenant autour d'une articulation peut permettre d'adapter une rééducation motrice ou un entrainement sportif, de préparer une intervention chirurgicale ou bien encore de piloter des prothèses robotisées. Les mesures…, The estimation of the moments developed by each muscle actuating a joint can allow to adapt motor rehabilitation or sports training, to prepare for surgery or even to control robotic prostheses. Since direct measurements of muscle forces are invasive, biomechanical models have been developed to…

Top-down Determination of Fluctuations in Topographic Measurements

Julie Lemesle, Clement Moreau, Raphael Deltombe, François Blateyron, Joseph Martin, Maxence Bigerelle, Christopher Brown

A top-down method is presented and studied for quantifying topographic map height (z) fluctuations directly from measurements on surfaces of interest. Contrary to bottom-up methods used in dimensional metrology, this method does not require knowledge of transfer functions and fluctuations of an…

Contributions on event-triggering control for systems on arbitrary time domains, Contribution sur la commande à transmissions événementielles pour les systèmes sur un domaine de temps arbitraire

Subham Dey

This thesis deals with designing control algorthms for systems on any arbitrary time domain using the calculus of measure chain theory thereby keeping in mind the issues related to interruption of cummunications, availability of information energy efficiency and safety-critical operation.

Vehicle Actuator Fault Detection With Finite-Frequency Specifications via Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Observers: Theory and Experiments

Juntao Pan, Tran Anh-Tu Nguyen, Thierry-Marie Guerra, Chouki Sentouh, Sujun Wang, Jean-Christophe Popieul

Abstract This article investigates the design of Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model‐based observers for nonlinear systems with parametric uncertainties and unknown inputs. To address this challenging problem, two observers are constructed in cascade. Based on the sliding mode technique, the first…

Coupled experimental and offline simulation study of a helicopter rotor in a frigate airwake with active flow control, Étude expérimentale et simulation hors ligne d'un rotor d'hélicoptère dans le sillage d'une frégate avec contrôle actif de l'écoulement

Elvina Derhille, Quentin Gallas, Luc Bordier, Simon Verley, Laurent Keirsbulck

Martens hardness of Constantan thin films on (100) Si wafer: Improvement in contact area function in nanoindentation

Ayyoub Dziri, Alex Montagne, Francine Roudet, Katir Ziouche, Didier Chicot

This work presents a mechanical study by nanoindentation of Constantan thin films deposited by cathodic sputtering technique with an intermediate thin adhesion layer of titanium on a (100) silicon wafer substrate. A methodology based on a modified contact area function is proposed for a suitable…
