Development and test of a new plantar pressure control device for foot unloading, Élaboration et validation d’un nouveau dispositif de surveillance des pressions plantaires : application à la décharge du pied

Virginie Femery, Francois J Potdevin, A. Thevenon, Pierre Moretto

Objective. – To validate a new plantar pressure control device able to detect excessive plantar pressure on-line and to improve the subject’s awareness of the gait pattern in order to correct and optimize the load distribution patterns.

From workflow specification to implementation: an industrial use case

Abraham Nkondo Dika, Guillaume Ducellier, Benoit Eynard, Pascal Lafon, Dominique Deneux

In the domain of project management, PLM offers functionalities for enabling process definition and execution through the use of Workflow Management Systems (WMS). This paper presents the implementation of workflow module in a PLM application. We highlight the limits of workflow in a context of…

Conception d'un SIW par réutilisation conceptuelle et logicielle

Etienne Cocquebert, Damien Trentesaux, Christian Tahon

Since the web sites become more and more important regarding publicity, information announcement, and work tool, web site designers have to take into account more and more criteria (cost, delay, quality, security) during design process. In order to take into account these constraints, we propose in…

Measurement of friction in a cold extrusion operation: Study by numerical simulation of four friction tests

Qi Zhang, Mogens Arentoft, Stefania Bruschi, Laurent Dubar, Eric Felder

The measurement of friction in the industrial metal working operations is a complex problem because the friction test must impose at the tool/metal interface conditions similar to those in the industrial operations. So in the European Network VIF (Virtual Intelligent Forging), a workshop (WP3) was…

Behaviour based on decision matrices for a coordination between agents in a urban traffic simulation

René Mandiau, Alexis Champion, Jean-Michel Auberlet, Stéphane Espie, Christophe Kolski

This paper describes a multi-agent coordination mechanism applied to intersection simulation situations. In a goal of urban traffic simulation, we must consider the dynamic interactions between autonomous vehicles. The field of multi-agent systems provides us some studies for such systems, in…

Non-quadratic stabilization conditions for a class of uncertain non linear discrete-time T-S fuzzy models: a new approach

Alexandre Kruszewski, R. Wang, Thierry-Marie Guerra

The discrete-time uncertain nonlinear models are considered in a Takagi-Sugeno form and their stabilization is studied through a non- quadratic Lyapunov function. The classical conditions consider a one- sample variation, here, the main results are obtained considering k samples variation, i.e.,…

Scatter Search for the 0–1 Multidimensional Knapsack Problem

Saïd Hanafi, Christophe Wilbaut

The evolutionary metaheuristic called scatter search has been applied successfully to optimization problems for several years. In this paper, we apply the scatter search technique to the well-known 0-1 multidimensional knapsack problem. We propose a new relaxation-based diversification generator,…

AMANDA V3: Toward a Common Workspace between Air Traffic Controllers

David Annebicque, Serge Debernard, Thierry Poulain, Igor Crevits

This paper presents the different tools developed in the LAMIH, in optics to assist air traffic controllers in their tasks, to decrease their workloads, and to enable them to support the ceaseless increase of the traffic. Common philosophy to all these tools is to preserve the controllers in the…

New convergent heuristics for 0–1 mixed integer programming

Christophe Wilbaut, Said Hanafi

Several hybrid methods have recently been proposed for solving 0-1 mixed integer programming problems. Some of these methods are based on the complete exploration of small neighborhoods. In this paper, we present several convergent algorithms that solve a series of small sub-problems generated by…

Heuristiques pour un Problème de m-Tournées Sélectives

Mahdi Khemakhem

Dans le PmTS un service est…, This thesis is devoted to a transportation problem called “the Selective Vehicle Routing Problem” or “the Team Orienteering Problem” TOP. The TOP consists of determining m tours for a fleet of vehicles over a subset of customers. Here, the vehicle capacity is not taken into account since services…
