Razumikhin-type Theorems on Practical Stability of Dynamic Equations on Time Scales

Bacem Ben Nasser, Michael Defoort, Mohamed Djemai, Taous-Meriem Laleg-Kirati

In this work, we investigate some Razumikhin-type criteria for the uniform global practical asymptotic stability on arbitrary time domains, for time-varying dynamic equations. Using Lyapunov-type functions on time scales, we develop appropriate inequalities ensuring that trajectories decay to the…

Characterization of a visco-hyperelastic synthetic gel for ballistic impacts assessment

Anthony Bracq, Grégory Haugou, Benjamin Bourel, Rémi Delille, Christophe Maréchal, Franck Lauro, Sébastien Roth, Olivier Mauzac

Understanding the human body response during impact has become a primary concern, especially in the field of ballistic impacts. Among various materials employed as human body substitutes, synthetic gel named SEBS is used in the present study. Mechanical characterization from quasi-static to very…

Timetable rearrangement to cope with railway maintenance activities

Luis Diego Arenas Pimentel, Paola Pellegrini, Said Hanafi, Joaquin Rodriguez

Maintenance activities on the railway infrastructure are necessary to maintain its functionality and availability. Commonly, the maintenance activities are planned first. Then, the timetable is elaborated respecting the unavailability periods caused by the former. However, sometimes unplanned…

Evolution of holonic control architectures towards Industry 4.0: A short overview

Olivier Cardin, William Derigent, Damien Trentesaux

The flexibility claimed by the next generation production systems induces a deep modification of the behavior and the core itself of the control systems. Overconnectivity and data management abilities targeted by Industry 4.0 paradigm enable the emergence of more flexible and reactive control…
