Contribution to task representation in model-based user interface design: application to new people-organization interactions

Dimitri Tabary, Mourad Abed, Christophe Kolski

In the current research approaches in Human-Computer Interaction, Model Based Design (MBD) is considered as very promising. With the aim to generate a prototype of the presentation and the human-computer dialogue of interactive systems, we propose a MBD Method named TOOD (Task Object Oriented…

Studies of Scale Effects for Crash on Laminated Structures

Dany Dormegnie, Daniel Coutellier, David Delsart, Eric Deletombe

This work proposes the study of the influence of scaled down ply layout techniques applied in a laminated composite structure submitted to fast dynamics. By its wide-ranging advantages, scale reduction represents a significant stake for engineers. An experimental campaign is carried out on an omega…

A software engineering workbench for modeling groupware activities

Emmanuel Adam, Christophe Kolski, René Mandiau, Emmanuel Vergison

In order to design a multiagent system which helps actors to manage documents in a complex administrative organization, we have built a method called AMOMCASYS especially dedicated to our needs. This method, built by integration of several pertinent elements of existing methods, is composed of the…

Global optimization of a double inverted pendulum model for the ankle and hip joint torques Estimation in standing

Kevin Guelton, Sebastien Delprat, Franck Barbier, Thierry-Marie Guerra, Stephane Armand, François-Xavier Lepoutre

In human standing, the computation of joint torques may be useful to investigate ankle or hip postural strategy. Despite the fact that inverse dynamics don’t need an explicit mechanical model, it is well known that it entails estimation errors particularly in case of small movements. The aim of…

Expertise and implicit memory: differential repetition priming effects on decision making in experienced and a inexperienced soccer players

Bachir Zoudji, Bernard Thon

The aim of the present work was to examine if the effects of expertise, often demonstrated in explicit memory of domain specific information, can also be found in implicit memory tests, in which the involvement of a deliberate strategy during encoding and testing can be ruled out. We used a…

Combinatorial approaches for segmentingbacterium genomes

Rumen Andonov, Nicola Yanev, Dominique Lavenier, Philippe Veber

Bacterium genome plasticity analysis can efficiently be performed by Long-Range PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). The first step requires to split the genome into hundreds of short overlapping segments which, after amplification, are used to sketch the profile of different bacterium strains. The…
