Optimization of matching and scheduling on heterogeneous CPU/FPGA architectures

Omar Souissi, Rabie Ben Atitallah, David Duvivier, Abdelhakim Artiba

The continuous improvements in several application domains such as telecommunications, aerospace or multimedia lead to additional design constraints on power budget and architecture scalability. The heterogeneous CPU/FPGA (Central Processing Unit/Field-Programmable Gate Array) architecture is one…

Radar Signature in Multiple Target Tracking System for Driver Assistant Application

Haisheng Liu, Smail Niar

This paper presents a new Driver Assistant System (DAS) using radar signatures. The new system is able in one hand to track multiple obstacles and on the other hand to identify obstacles during vehicle movements. The combination of these two functions on the same DAS gives the benefits of avoiding…

Towards a quality model for the evaluation of DSS based on KDD process

Emna Ben Ayed, Mounir Ben Ayed

A Decision Support System (DSS) based on Knowledge Discovery from Data (KDD) process is used to give confident knowledge to the final users in order to help them making right decisions. Such systems can be underused if the mined knowledge is unconfident, or if the system is hardly usable or…

Evaluation of an information assistance system based on an agent-based architecture in transportation domain: first results

Abdelwaheb Trabelsi, Houcine Ezzedine

The evaluation of interactive systems is a wide and rich research domain: many meth-ods, criteria and tools are available. In this article, we are focused on agent-basedinteractive systems. We first describe the agent oriented architecture used in ourresearches. Then we propose an evaluation…

Trust and risk management towards resilient large-scale Cyber-Physical Systems

Arnaldo E Pereira, Nelson Rodrigues, José Barbosa, Paulo Leitão

Empowering distributed entities with decisional and adaptation capabilities is the current trend in control systems operating in highly changing environments. Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is a paradigm addressing this challenge as it allows the integration of both physical and decisional parts. By…

Vers la modélisation des assemblages rivetés par super-éléments finis en dynamique rapide

Claire Hennuyer, Nicolas Leconte, Bertrand Langrand, Eric Markiewicz

Lorsqu'une structure aéronautique est soumise à des sollicitations de dynamique rapide, des phénomènes de localisation des contraintes apparaissent au niveau des assemblages rivetés. L'analyse par éléments finis du comportement de la structure complète de l'avion implique…
