RTj: a Java framework for detecting and refactoring rotten green test cases

Matias Martinez, Anne Etien, Stéphane Ducasse, Christopher Fuhrman

Rotten green tests are passing tests which have, at least, one assertion not executed. They give developers a false confidence. In this paper, we present, RTj, a framework that analyzes test cases from Java projects with the goal of detecting and refactoring rotten test cases. RTj automatically…

PARS, a system combining semantic technologies with multiple criteria decision aiding for supporting antibiotic prescriptions

Souhir Ben Souissi, Mourad Abed, Lahcen El Hiki, Philippe Fortemps, Marc Pirlot

Objective : Motivated by the well documented worldwide spread of adverse drug events, as well as the increased danger of antibiotic resistance (caused mainly by inappropriate prescribing and overuse), we propose a novel recommendation system for antibiotic prescription (PARS).Method : Our approach…

Brake and velocity model-free control on an actual vehicle

Philip Polack, Sebastien Delprat, Brigitte D’andréa-Novel

A tuning procedure for the model-free control paradigm introduced in Fliess and Join (2013) is proposed. This controller requires an estimate of the system dynamics usually obtained using an ALIEN filter, presented in Fliess and Sira-Ramírez (2003). Several implementation issues of this ALIEN…

Designing a Public Key Cryptosystem Based on Quasi-cyclic Subspace Subcodes of Reed-Solomon Codes

Thierry Berger, Cheikh Thiecoumba Gueye, Jean Belo Klamti, Olivier Ruatta

In this paper we introduce a code-based cryptosystem using quasi-cyclic generalized subspace subcodes of Generalized Reed-Solomon codes in order to reduce the public key size. In our scheme the underlying Generalized Reed-Solomon code is not secret, so the classical attacks such as square code or…

Multi-scale study of the mechanical behaviour of bearing and bone-bearing bones : towards personalization of FE human models, Approche multi-échelle du comportement mécanique des os porteurs et non porteurs : vers une personnalisation des modèles numériques EF de l'être humain

Xavier Roothaer

The human skeleton aims at participating to the locomotor system, protecting and serving as brackets for the internal organs. To ensure the mechanical stiffness of the entire body, the cortical bone can be found in every part of the skeleton.

Thomas Fourest, Pascal Bouda, Lloyd C. Fletcher, Delphine Notta-Cuvier, Eric Markiewicz, Fabrice Pierron, Bertrand Langrand

In the present work Image-Based Inertial Impact (IBII) tests are performed on Ti6Al4V material. The IBII test uses an impact on the edge of the specimen to generate a short pulse that loads the specimen. Three specimen geometries have been tested: a classic rectangular specimen, and two specimen…

A multi-agent system for the reactive fleet maintenance support planning of a fleet of mobile cyber-physical systems : application to rail transport industry, Proposition d'un système multi-agent pour la planification réactive des opérations de maintenance d'une flotte de systèmes cyber-physiques mobiles : application au domaine ferroviaire

John William Mbuli

The manufacturers and the operators of the fleets of cyber-physical systems (CPSs) are subjected to huge expectations expressed in terms of the availability and reliability of the provided products and services during the exploitation of these fleets in dynamic environments.

This work focuses on a multidisciplinary problem that combines the experimental characterization of particles emitted during train braking and the numerical modeling of their transport in order to predict their dynamic behavior following their generation. These particles can present a real health…, Ce travail porte sur une problématique pluridisciplinaire qui combine la caractérisation expérimentale des particules émises au cours du freinage d’un train et la modélisation numérique du transport de ces dernières dans le but de prédire leur comportement dynamique suite à leur génération.
