A shower of awards for Emilia Pérez

Since the Prix du Jury at the Festival de Cannes 2024, Jacques Audiard's Emilia Pérez has won a large number of awards around the world. Beyond the two Oscars won this weekend, the film has won 7 Césars, including Best Picture and Best Visual Effects, 4 Golden Globes (including Best Musical or Comedy), 2 BAFTA (including Best Foreign Language Film), 3 Critics' Choice Movie Award, 1 Goyas, and 5 Lumiere, including Best Film.

Emilia Pérez was shot, for the most part, exclusively on blue backgrounds in the Paris region. The film then benefited from the expertise of MPC Paris and the Artizans team for its special effects on over 350 shots. Among the talents who worked on the film's success were several alumni of the Valenciennes training program:
