Work from the introductory research course presented at INCOM 2024
A fine example of the training/research synergy between INSA Hauts-de-France and LAMIH.
Work by students from INSA Hauts-de-France was published and presented this summer at the INCOM 2024 conference in Vienna, Austria, one of the largest international conferences in the fields of control, industrial engineering and operations management. This work was supervised and presented by Tarik Chargui.
Their paper, "Sustainable Multi-Objective Truck Scheduling in a Rail-Road Physical Internet Cross Docking Hub with internal storage", focuses on sustainable truck optimization in a rail-road hub, with particular attention to internal storage.
This work was carried out as part of Sondes Chaabane's "Initiation to Research in Industrial Engineering" course (2022-2023). This course is offered to engineering students to raise their awareness of research, skills and professions linked to development and innovation in the industrial sector.
