Title

Scheduling problems under energy constraints

Summary

I will discuss the optimization of scheduling in parallel machines under time-of-use constraints, aiming to minimize both manufacturing lead time and energy costs.

.

In addition, I will explore the optimization of flow shop problems, incorporating constraints related to solar power generation and storage capacity. These challenges underline the critical need to integrate energy constraints into scheduling algorithms in order to obtain optimal solutions.

I will also explore the optimization of flow shop problems, incorporating constraints related to solar power generation and storage capacity.

Short biography

I am a professor of computer science and operations research at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France. I obtained my bachelor's degree in operations research, my master's degree in operations research and decision support and my PhD in operations research at the University of Sfax. I have published over 160 articles in books, academic journals, edited proceedings and book chapters. My h-index is 29 on Google scholar.

I am interested in the design of efficient computational methods and tools that provide decision support for resource management (planning, scheduling and coordination) in the targeted fields of logistics, production, transportation and healthcare.
