- Automation & robotics: apply the programming that middle school students tackle in technology.
- Initiate industrial maintenance through fluidic technologies: disassemble important components of industrial machines in search of a fault.
- Nautical challenge: aanalyze a situation and make appropriate physical and technical choices to win a race.

Workshops to introduce young audiences to mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and materials science in a fun way.
Who is organizing the event?
- At the IUT, teaching staff, technical staff and students design animations offered to schoolchildren every year during the Fête de la science in Valenciennes and Maubeuge.
- The regional organization of the Fête de la science in Hauts-de-France is coordinated by the association Ombelliscience, a regional agency for scientific, technical and industrial culture.
- This event is supported by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
