Mechanical engineering and production engineering
Graduates of Mechanical and Production Engineering ensure that a new product is brought to market through design, industrialization, and industrial organization.
The GMP department trains 200 students per year on a full-time and work-study basis.
One goal: student success
A pedagogical and technical team of 21 people accompanies and supervises students during their course at the IUT.
Teaching is provided by permanent and part-time staff and is based on partnerships with the industrial and scientific world. Students complete at least 22 weeks of internship in initial training, or follow their training in alternating years. They can also benefit from an international experience allowing them to develop linguistic and intercultural skills, through a semester of study or an internship abroad.

Professional training offer in GMP
4 courses are open in B.U.T. GMP, after a technological or general BAC, 1 course is accessible in professional license after a BAC+2.
The common core of training allows students to discover the professions of mechanical design, integrating structural design, mechanics, materials science and industrialization, production, metrology, electricity, electronics, automation.

The studies take place on the campus of Mont Houy, in Aulnoy-lez- Valenciennes
