Industrial engineering and maintenance
The GIM department trains 120 students per year, both full-time and on a work-study basis. Their skills cover installation, maintenance in operational condition, security, improvement of a multi-technical system, and management of technical and human resources of a department.
One goal: student success
A pedagogical and technical team of 20 people accompanies and supervises the students during their course at the IUT.
The teaching provided by permanent and part-time staff is based on partnerships with the industrial and scientific world. Students complete at least 22 weeks of internship in initial training, or follow their training in alternating years. They can also benefit from an international experience allowing them to develop linguistic and intercultural skills, through a study semester or an internship abroad.
Professional training offer in GIM
2 courses are open in B.U.T. GIM, after a technological or general BAC, 2 courses are accessible in professional license after a BAC+2
The common core of training allows students to discover the professions of equipment maintenance and the engineering of multi-technical systems (electrical, mechanical, thermal, ...) with respect to the safety of people, property and the environment.

Les objectifs de la formation
Le Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie en Génie Industriel et Maintenance forme des cadres intermédiaires aux compétences reconnues pour installer, maintenir en condition opérationnelle, sécuriser, améliorer des systèmes pluri-techniques (électriques, mécaniques, thermiques, ...) et participer à la gestion de moyens techniques et humains d'un service.

Ingénierie des systèmes pluri-techniques
Ce parcours est centré sur l'installation, l’amélioration et l'analyse du fonctionnement d’un système en vue d’optimiser ses performances en tenant compte des ressources humaines, matérielles et financières de l'entreprise. Les étudiants sont amenés à utiliser des cellules robots, de la robotique collaborative, des AGV (véhicule à guidage automatique) dans un environnement de production tourné vers l'industrie 4.0.
Management, méthodes, maintenance innovante
Ce parcours est centré sur la fiabilité, la sécurité et le fonctionnement optimal d’un système pluri-technique, sur l’organisation des opérations de contrôle et de supervision, et sur la gestion et l’animation des équipes d’interventions. Les étudiants se familiarisent entre autres avec les techniques avancées de maintenance conditionnelle basées sur l'analyse vibratoire, l'analyse d'huile, la thermographie et le contrôle non destructif.
