Valenciennes IUT Maubeuge is based on departments and missions that manage finances, relations with companies, communication, international relations, quality, development and technology transfer, disability situations.
Financial Services
The IUT Financial Service works transversally with the Financial Affairs Department (DAF) and the Accounting Agency internally, and externally with all of the university's clients and suppliers.
The IUT financial service is responsible :
- of accounting commitments,
- of purchase orders,
- invoice authorizations for transmission to the university's accounting agency for payment,
- of the establishment of mission orders,
- the issuance of invoices and receipts for transmission to the Accounting Agency in charge of collection.
The financial service reports on budget execution to the Financial Affairs Department, the IUT management and the heads of departments

Relations with companies
At the IUT, the company relations and continuing education/apprenticeship department (REFCA) ensures, in conjunction with the departments, relations with the business world, promotion and administrative management of degree or qualification training courses under the continuing education and/or work-study programs.

Internal and external communication
The communication service contributes to the communication network of the University and to the network of the IUT (communication commission of the ADIUT).
It operates on the 4 campuses of the IUT, in relation with the departments and services and is mainly dedicated to the external and internal valorisation of the IUT, through a digital and print communication concerted with the services and training departments. It contributes to the promotion of the institution, through a concerted communication approach with the components of the university.

International Relations
The International Relations of the IUT works closely with the International Relations Pole of the University (link to UNIVERSITE / TRAINING / INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY)
It accompanies students in their mobility procedures and welcomes foreign students enrolled at the IUT.

Quality approach
The Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France is committed to a quality approach since 2013. It has caused for its training components, including the IUT, the LRQA Quality Decree certification relating to the quality of actions of continuing professional education, from 2017 to 2020.
Since July 2021, UPHF has been certified according to the national reference RNQ QUALIOPI on the perimeter Training Actions/EVP/Skills Assessment.
Our CFA Formasup has obtained QUALIOPI certification for its apprenticeship training.

Valorization and technology transfer
The IUT participates in the research and development policy of the'University :
- selection committees (COS), applied research,
- partnership with the Technopole TransAlley and the ARIA,
- National Research Agency (ANR) and Erasmus (EUNICE Alliance) projects,
- business-specific training, relying on platforms, staff expertise,
- enhancement of student technological projects,
- establishing a network of research partners for student internships.

Accompanying situations of disability
As part of the University Disability Charter, the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France has created a disability relay structure dedicated to the reception of students with temporary or permanent disabilities.
Within the IUT, a referent facilitates the procedures and ensures the implementation of the requested accommodations.
